Sample F Sample G7

F Major and G7 Chords

These two great chords will offer you a challenge. They will take a period of time to master. The F Major chord utilizes only four strings. The 5th and 6th strings are not played. Your 1st finger will cover the first two strings. This is not as simple as it appears.

In general, if you can obtain a clear sound from the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd strings that will do just fine. At this point -Three out of four strings is just fine.

The G7 chord will make your fingers stretch a little. It may be difficult to obtain a clear sound from the 5th string. Do not worry, it will happen - but not immediately.
